ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership & Governance
Develop and implement an education strategy that aligns with the communitys vision and goals.
Provide leadership and direction to education staff, including school administrators, teachers, and support personnel.
Work closely with Chief and Council, the Education Board, Elders, and other stakeholders to develop and uphold education policies.
Advocate for Indigenous education priorities at the regional, provincial, and national levels.
Curriculum & Program Development
Ensure that curricula incorporate Indigenous culture, language, and traditional knowledge.
