The ideal BDC Representative possesses the following:
The ability to speak clearly and comfortably on the phone
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Computer and technology skills including the ability to use email and a customer database
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Effective problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong time management skills
A desire to meet production goals and expectations
The ability to work professionally alone and as part of a team.
Previous experience in scheduling and/or the automotive industry is an asset.
WHAT YOU DO (Duties & Responsibilities):
Driving traffic for the service department by setting appointments for prospective customers.
Taking inbound calls for service appointments and making outbound calls for owner follow-up.
Providing outstanding and courteous customer service assistance either electronically or over the phone.
Maintaining and updating customer information into customer database.
Following up on customer visits to ensure customer satisfaction.
Ensuring protection of customer information by continually following Information Security procedures.
