The Town of Arborfield is accepting applications for the position of a public works student labourer for the 2025 summer.  The applicant must be self-motivated and, under the direction of the Foreman & Administrator, will provide support for all aspects of Public Works including but not limited to:

-    Assisting in general maintenance of municipal parks, cenotaph, lots and buildings
-    Mowing and weed

The Town of Arborfield is accepting applications for the position of a public works student labourer for the 2025 summer.  The applicant must be self-motivated and, under the direction of the Foreman & Administrator, will provide support for all aspects of Public Works including but not limited to:

-    Assisting in general maintenance of municipal parks, cenotaph, lots and buildings
-    Mowing and weed maintenance of streets, sidewalks, back alleys, town-owned lots
-    Assisting with maintenance of culverts, and drainage ditches
-    Other duties as assigned by Foreman and/or the Administrator
-    Wearing CSA Approved footwear at all times will be condition of employment and will be the responsibility of employee to purchase.

This position is open to post-secondary students who are registered to return to school full-time this fall and be eligible to be hired under the government student grans program.

Work days: Monday  Friday 8:00am  5:00pm; Wage is set at $17.00/hour
