Responsibilities:
Design and implement individualized program plans (IPPs) for students with diverse learning needs, including academic, social-emotional, and behavioral goals.
Provide in-class support, resource room interventions, and small group instruction as required.
Collaborate with classroom teachers to develop and adapt instructional strategies and resources to meet the needs of all learners.
Conduct assessments and monitor student progress to inform programming and intervention.
Communicate effectively with families, guardians, and external support agencies to ensure consistent support for students.
Assist in planning and delivering professional development for staff related to inclusion, differentiation, and intervention strategies.
Participate in school-based team meetings to address student needs and develop action plans.
Qualifications:
Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate.
Experience or training in special education or inclusive education practices is an asset.
Strong understanding of differentiated instruction, intervention strategies, and collaborative problem-solving.
