At Redhead Equipment we do Whatever It Takes to meet the needs of our customers and have been doing so for over 75 years. We deliver the most dependable brands of agricultural, construction and truck and trailer equipment across 10 locations in Saskatchewan.
Our Swift Current branch has an exciting and newly created position which will support the Service department by providing hands on technology expertise focused on our agricultural equipment product lines. As the areas of precision farming, machine integration and automation become increasingly dynamic pillars of the agricultural industry, we are looking for an individual to grow with us and optimize their experience.
The Agricultural Technology Technician will work with various manufacturers, GPS, telematics and equipment control systems. Performing installs, setup, troubleshoot and maintain systems on equipment in the field or in our shop.
Qualified candidates will possess the following skills/qualities:
- Solid working knowledge of AFS, Precision Farming, telematics and/or GPS systems
- Technical background and aptitude in agricultural equipment
- Self-motivated and an independent worker
- Overall mechanical and problem-solving ability
- Strong computer and diagnostic skills
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency reading and interpreting schematics and manuals
- Commitment to customer service and pride in quality workmanship
- Positive and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Preference may be given to candidates with related precision experience and mechanical ability.
