You will build relationships and work closely with maintenance supervisors and trades personnel, focusing on a culture of learning, continuous improvement, and digital transformation.
In this role, you will:
- Develop complete work order packages, manage material, labour availability, and delivery
- Develop repair plans, optimize maintenance plans to improve maintenance activities
- Maximize equipment availability and maintenance worker efficiency
- Contribute to asset reliability through various continual improvement efforts
- Create and modify work plans to ensure preventative and predictive maintenance efficiencies
- Be responsible for backlog management, reporting, and follow-up
- Assist with bills of materials and equipment data, preparing reports, and scheduling support
Required:
- Valid Saskatchewan or interprovincial journeyperson industrial mechanic certification
- Three to five years or more of related experience in a heavy industrial setting
- Strong computer and technical skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with various levels in the organization
- Experience with SAP
- Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Recommended:
- Previous maintenance planning, coordinating, and/or scheduling experience
- Previous lead hand or supervisory experience
- Maintenance Management Professional (MMP) certification, CMRP designation, or equivalent
- Knowledge of asset management, reliability, and maintenance execution best practices
- Exposure to continuous improvement methodology such as LEAN and/or Six Sigma training
- Experience in an operating underground mining facility
