MLTC is seeking a keen, dedicated individual to fill the full time, permanent position of Accounting Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing data entry and related duties in disbursing accounts payable to individuals, suppliers, MLTC First Nations, and/or other entities. This includes reviewing the payment request, coding, and filing the documents. With regards to CFS, duties include

MLTC is seeking a keen, dedicated individual to fill the full time, permanent position of Accounting Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing data entry and related duties in disbursing accounts payable to individuals, suppliers, MLTC First Nations, and/or other entities. This includes reviewing the payment request, coding, and filing the documents. With regards to CFS, duties include the use of CFS case management and specialized payment programs. The Accounting Officer must be/become very familiar with the funding agreements and must work very closely with the Budget Analyst to ensure that expenses have been coded properly and complete re-allocation of costs if necessary. Duties will also include the preparation of year end audit information. The Accounting Officer must be able to provide accurate, timely and concise work and must pay attention to detail, be approachable and must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
