Client is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to drive data insights and reporting initiatives that support strategic decision-making across the organization. This role plays a key part in supporting Client's digital transformation and enterprise data analytics objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize SQL queries and reporting scripts for data analysis.
Design and implement reporting solutions using Power BI, Power Query, and DAX.
Collaborate with business units to define reporting needs and deliver analytics solutions.
Guide business stakeholders from requirements gathering through to solution delivery.
Integrate data from legacy and on-premises systems into modern visualization tools.
Apply data architectural methodologies, including Lakehouse architecture and Delta format.
Manage content and data governance initiatives.
Ensure compliance with security and privacy regulations (PIPEDA).

Required Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years experience in BI/data management roles within the last 15 years.
Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
(Or 10+ years of relevant experience if no formal qualification.)
Expertise in:
oSQL development and optimization
oPower BI (Power Query, DAX)
oAzure, Power BI Service, Databricks
oStar schema and analytical data models
Experience with Lakehouse architecture and Delta format.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
Knowledge of Canadian privacy and security compliance standards.
