This position will supervise the permanent lifeguards and oversee the daily operations of the aquatics program. The Aquatics Coordinator will also oversee the training, instruction and planning of all advanced courses and examinations for lifeguards.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for lifeguarding, instructing and facility operations.
2. Responsible for the leadership and supervision of lifeguarding staff.
3. Responsible for administrational duties.
4. Responsible for strong communication and public relations.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of grade 12
Two years related work experience.
Possession of the following awards:
Aquatic Supervisor Training (AST)
Bronze Examiner
Certified Pool Operator
CPR-HCP or BLS (valid within one year)
Lifesaving First Aid Instructor and Examiner
Lifesaving Instructor and Swim for Life Instructor
Lifesaving Sport  Coach Level 1
Naloxone Training
National Lifeguard  Pool
National Lifeguard  Waterpark
National Lifeguard Instructor and Examiner
Respect in Sport
SEE Auditor
Standard First Aid
Swim Abilities Instructor
WHMIS
