The Senior Systems Analyst 1 will work under the direction and supervision of the Senior Systems Analyst/Supervisor and performs the full range of duties involved in installing maintaining & testing installations / implementations as assigned by supervisor. The Senior Systems Analyst 1 assists with computer systems support and maintenance. Aide in a team approach to implementation of new technology and participates in day-to-day hosting and maintaining of computer software and equipment.
Qualifications and abilities:
* 1-2 years of previous experience in a highly integrated network environment or equivalent experience.
* Recognized certificate/diploma/degree and/or combination of training and/or experience.
* Demonstrating a high level of confidentiality.
* Ability to demonstrate technical skills.
* Knowledge of the organization (strategic priories, values, goals, services and programs, health care) and First Nations culture.
* Previous working experience with First Nations people and demonstrate an understanding of the health and social issues encountered by First Nation people and a willingness to learn about and accept First Nations cultures.
* Abilities and behaviors associated with the core competencies with an emphasis upon planning and organizing, analytical and problem solving, interpersonal, collaboration and teamwork.
* Demonstrated ability to handle highly sensitive information and documents exercising confidentiality, discretion, good judgement, and exercising tact, courtesy, and diplomacy always.
* Demonstrate a high degree of flexibility and adaptability to balance the changing needs of the organization.
* A successful criminal record check and a valid class 5 driver's license is required.
