DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    To provide information, assistance, and service to customers in a manner which will promote the sale of merchandise and meet the needs, requirements, and expectations of the customer
    To perform general housekeeping duties
    To assist in appliances, deliveries, drafting quotes and lumber sales
    To order merchandise for assigned areas as directed by the Hardware Manager as per Prairie North Co-op

    To assist in appliances, deliveries, drafting quotes and lumber sales
    To order merchandise for assigned areas as directed by the Hardware Manager as per Prairie North Co-op policies and procedures.
    To receive merchandise as directed by the Hardware Manager as per Prairie North Co-op policies and procedures.
    To stock shelves and display merchandise as directed by the Hardware Manager as per Prairie North Co-op policies and procedures.
    To be familiar with and adhere to Prairie North Co-op policies and procedures including working in a diverse environment.
    To operate the point-of-sale terminal and prepare daily cash reconciliations when required.
    Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

    Experience and knowledge of building material products.
    Valid Sask. Drivers License is required
    Ability to work with co-workers and public.
    Physical requirements include lifting/carrying 80lbs+
    Must be able to work with computers.
    Must be able to work unsupervised.
