Job Description: The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) integrates skills, knowledge and the principles of adult teaching and learning in the provision of educational programs/services to nursing staff within Saskatchewan Health Authority. The CNE will provide visible, proactive leadership and promote the delivery of safe, client centred care through the application of practice standards. In consultation with the Manager Multidisciplinary Teams (Clinical Standards and Professional Practice), the CNE is responsible for identifying and prioritizing the clinical learning needs across the spectrum of nursing services within Saskatchewan Health Authority.

Experience
- Intermediate computer skills with experience in excel and word
- Experience with planning, implementation, quality monitoring and evaluation.
- Minimum 5 years recent acute nursing experience
- Experience in designing/delivering clinical education
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Memberships
- College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
Other Education and Training
- Registered/eligible for registration with the CRNS
Competencies
- Presentation skills
Knowledge and Abilities
- Knowledge in process of policy and procedure development
- Knowledge in nursing process and principles of adult learning
- Ability to manage programs within budgetary parameters
