Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:
*Support the Store Manager in overall store operations, including inventory control, merchandising, and staff supervision
*Lead and motivate a team of employees to deliver exceptional customer service
*Ensure all legal and regulatory requirements related to the sale of alcohol are strictly followed
*Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
Manage stock levels, place orders, and oversee product receiving and displays
*Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently
*Open and close the store in accordance with company policies and procedures
*Monitor and ensure store cleanliness, organization, and safety
*Prepare reports and assist with administrative duties as required
*Act as the primary manager in the absence of the Store Manager
Required Skills
*High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in retail management or business an asset
*2+ years of retail experience, preferably in a liquor or convenience store setting
*Previous supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred
*Strong knowledge of liquor products and regulations in Saskatchewan
*Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
*Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
*Proficient with point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications
*Must be of legal age to sell alcohol in Saskatchewan
*Must have Serve it Right certification prior to employment
