KWS Keys Welding Service Ltd. has an exciting opportunity for a Welder located at our facility in the North Corman Industrial Park.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications.
Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), plasma arc welding (PAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), oxy-acetylene welding (OAW), resistance welding and submerged arc welding (SAW)
Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
Operate brazing and soldering equipment.
Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears and other metal straightening and bending machines.
Repair worn parts of metal products by welding on extra layers.
Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
Report any and all unsafe conditions to site supervisor and the safety advisor
Maintain safe working place by using safe work practices.
Other duties as directed by supervisor or designate.
Qualifications:
Minimum Level 3 welder apprentice, journeyperson preferred
Ability to work alone or in a team setting.
Ability to take on multiple projects at one time
Well organized and possess great attention to detail to produce high quality work in a fast. paced environment, while ensuring proper safety standards are met.
