The Ministry is seeking a highly skilled and collaborative leader to provide strategic leadership and direction to the Information Technology Division (ITD) asExecutive Director of the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). Reporting to the Assistant Deputy Minister (ADM) and as an integral member of the senior management team, this positionwill:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Information Technology Division;
- Provide senior leadership for the Ministrys corporate governance, stakeholder engagement, and contract management framework;
- Demonstrate exceptional leadership abilities through collaboration and teamwork;
- Participate as an active member of the Ministrys senior leadership team;
- Uphold the Ministrys values of respect and integrity, serving citizens, excellence and innovation, and acting as one team;
- Lead or contribute to policy development;
- Engage a team dedicated to building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders; and
- Coordinate support for the Federal-Provincial-Territorial Collaboration Table;
- Develop and implement a strategic approach to economic development aligned with Saskatchewans Growth Plan.
Typically, theknowledge, skills and experiencerequired to be successful in this position would have been obtained through:
Completion of an undergraduate degree in administration, commerce, economics or a related field of study, supplemented with extensive directly related experience in strategic planning and legislative and policy development; and
Extensive senior leadership experience with proven success leading a high-performing team.
