Are you a creative and strategic communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment? The City of Regina is looking for a Senior Communications Strategist to join our Strategic Communications team!
In this pivotal role, youll collaborate with departments across the City to craft and execute impactful communications and marketing plans that align with our goals. From writing compelling news releases to leading digital campaigns, youll help shape how we engage with our community.
What You'll Do:
Develop and deliver strategic communications initiatives
Provide expert advice on high-profile projects
Create content for media, digital platforms, and internal audiences
Manage project plans, budgets, and timelines
Tackle emerging issues with confidence and creativity
What You Bring:
A degree or diploma in Communications, PR, Journalism, or a related field
5+ years of experience in a communications role
Exceptional writing, strategic thinking, and relationship-building skills
Project management experience and political acumen (a plus!)
A passion for public service and community impact
