The La Ronge Regional Housing Authority is currently looking for a permanent, part-time (20 hours per week) Maintenance Worker to join their team in Stony Rapids!  

The Position:
-Ensure housing units are rent-ready by undertaking minor repairs, prep work, painting, etc.
-Garbage removal and janitorial duties
-Groundskeeping, including grass cutting and snow removal
-Assist with routine and preventative maintenance tasks

Responsibilities and Requirements:
-Basic knowledge in a variety of trades such as carpentry, plumbing, painting, flooring, and electrical
-Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with management, staff, and tenants
-Ensure day to day operations are handling promptly and effectively

Qualifications:
-Grade 12 education or equivalent, basic computer skills, and some experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc.
-Ability to organize and participate in an on-call program for emergencies for evening, weekend, and holiday coverage
-A valid driver's license, reliable, roadworthy vehicle, and an approved Enhanced (Vulnerable Sector) criminal record check are conditions of employment
-Air and overnight travel, as required
