Job Description
The Long-Term Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing Long-Term Programs and Services, ensuring the promotion and maintenance of best practices and case management standards within a family- and child-centered framework, while adhering to time and fiscal management constraints.
The duties of the Long-Term Supervisor include, but are not limited to, overseeing Child Protection Services, informed by the Children in Care
The Long-Term Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing Long-Term Programs and Services, ensuring the promotion and maintenance of best practices and case management standards within a family- and child-centered framework, while adhering to time and fiscal management constraints.
The duties of the Long-Term Supervisor include, but are not limited to, overseeing Child Protection Services, informed by the Children in Care Services and Family Support Services, in alignment with the YTL-YTCCFS Inc. Service Delivery Model as outlined in the organization's Strategic Plan, Vision, and Goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Social Work (BSW or BISW) OR
Two (2) to five (5) years of direct child protection supervisory experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to apply and interpret provincial/federal legislation and funding agreements for children in care.
Ability to provide leadership through encouragement, collaborations and the promotion of healthy, positive working relationships with the objective of achieving client, team and Agency goals.
Demonstrated ability to monitor, evaluate and facilitate quality assurance measures for case management, case planning and file documentation of subordinates.
Ability to handle stress, ambiguity, and conflict situations.
Must have experience with Microsoft Office.
Must possess excellent organization and time management skills.
Must be dependable and reliable.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must possess a valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle.
Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
Must pass security screening and sign an Oath of Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement
Must display professional office manner.
