In this role, you will:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address engineering challenges.
- Supervise and support a small team of technical staff, fostering collaboration and performance.
- Provide technical direction and guidance to ensure that production designs are adequate for the complex orebody.
- Promote a safety-first culture in all aspects of engineering and operations.
Required:
- Bachelors degree in geological, geotechnical or mine engineering
- Seven to 12 years of progressive experience in hard rock and/or underground mine engineering
- Eligibility for registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS)
- Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) designation
- Demonstrated expertise in mine design software, particularly Deswik, with a strong background in drilling and blasting design. This includes experience reviewing and validating others work, as well as training team members in effective drilling and blast design practices.
- Extensive experience with mine scheduling software, particularly Deswik, including the development of short-, medium-, and long-term schedules. Proven ability to train and support others in building effective and practical mine schedules.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing technical teams and complex projects
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Recommended:
- Long hole mining experience, particularly in high-grade or challenging environments
- Ventilation experience with Ventilation on Demand (VOD) systems.
