Suncrest College welcomes applications for the position of Lead Instructor in our Welding Applied Certificate program. This is a term position from October 13, 2025 April 30, 2026 (for 636 hours) in Tisdale, SK.

This position is primarily responsible for instruction of the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Welding Applied Certificate program.

The Opportunity:
This position is primarily responsible for instruction of the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Welding Applied Certificate program. Tasks include preparing and delivering lessons, assignments, lectures, and exams. Instructors will use technology in their delivery when possible to enhance students learning experience.
Requirements:
- The minimum educational qualification for this position is Grade 12 or equivalent and a Journeyperson Certificate in the Welding trade.
- The minimum amount of practical, related experience required to perform the duties of this position is a minimum of two years recent and relevant post-Journeyperson experience as a Welder.
- Preference will be given to candidates with previous instructional experience.
- Demonstrated experience working in a cross-cultural environment.
- Valid Drivers license is required.
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check required.
