Job Description
The Executive Assistant reports to the General Manager and is a member of the Management Team. The position is responsible for internal and external communications on behalf of the General Manager. Main accountabilities are as follows:

The Executive Assistant reports to the General Manager and is a member of the Management Team. The position is responsible for internal and external communications on behalf of the General Manager. Main accountabilities are as follows:
- Provides a supportive working relationship with the General Manager and assists in communications, organizational activities and assisting Human Resources in the absence of the Human Resources Manager.
- Oversees the administration of SHAs full cycle payroll administration and processing.
- Acts as a support to the Board of Directors and fulfills this role in accordance with SHA policy.
- Maintain a listing of staff vehicle liability insurance, drivers licenses, and follow up on policy renewals/expiries to ensure SHA and the employees are protected against potential liability.
We are looking for the following attributes:
- Completion of a recognized business/office administration course;
- Experience in an administrative support role;
- Experience in a non-profit organization and working with Boards;
- Experience in payroll will be considered an asset.
