Job Description
Northern Lights School Division No.113 is a provincial school system serving a predominantly Indigenous school population throughout an area encompassing the entire northern half of Saskatchewan. The schools are very diverse ranging from 10 to over 500 students per school, and catering to Cree, Dene, Mtis, French, and English cultures and languages.

The schools are very diverse ranging from 10 to over 500 students per school, and catering to Cree, Dene, Mtis, French, and English cultures and languages.
NLSD provides a full range of pre-kindergarten to Grade Twelve programs to more than 4300 students in 21 schools. We have offices located in the beautiful communities of La Ronge and Beauval, both approximately 400 kilometers north of Saskatoon.
The division is progressively piloting programs unique to Canada, staying on the cutting edge of technology, and integrating the varied cultural aspects of the communities into the classrooms.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 or equivalent diploma
- Post secondary courses or equivalent experience
- Typing and computer data entry skills
- Understanding of accounting and a working knowledge of computer accounting applications would be considered an asset
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain Driver Ed. Contractors (in-class/in-car) files i.e.: typing, processing mail and record keeping
- Assist with organizing in-services, workshops and conferences for special projects.
- Coordinate/arrange travel/accommodations, registrations & meetings room bookings for participants to various in-services, workshops meetings & conferences.
- Flight arrangements & accommodations/meals/vehicle rental for consultants assigned to central office
- Maintain home-based education file.
- Secretarial duties for consultants, Superintendent of Education & Deputy Director (as required).
