WHAT YOULL BRING:

-  Minimum 1 years experience working in a vet clinic or hospital
- Enrollment in post-secondary education in a RVT or Vet Assistance program with an accredited Canadian college.
- Knowledge of standard veterinary procedures

- Knowledge of standard veterinary procedures and terminology used in a vet clinic or hospital setting.
- Knowledge of basic animal care and handling techniques
- Ability to follow established policies and procedures when handling client concerns and complaints.

WHAT YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
- Greet clients and pets by name immediately upon arrival in a friendly and sincere manner.
- Provide compassionate care to patients and clients.
- Assist the Receptionist by performing administrative duties by answering client inquiries, scheduling appointments, recording messages for DVM/Staff and taking care of routine calls.
- Provide knowledgeable sub-professional advice concerning the care and treatment of animals, including questions regarding hospital services, fees, animal care and treatment.
- Assist in handling emergency situations
