The City of North Battleford has a Detachment Services Assistant position available at the Battlefords RCMP Detachment. This position is under the supervision of the RCMP Support Services Manager. This role provides administrative, financial and operations support for RCMP officers and employees at the detachment.  The Department Services Assistant receives, assesses and responds to front counter and telephone inquiries, complaints and requests for information and services from the general public.  Receives and records monies, prepares receipts and bank deposits. Receives, sorts, files and distributes mail, assists with storage and safekeeping of exhibits and evidence.  Processes requests for release of information in accordance with various Acts, Legislation, policies and procedures.  This role ensures that optimal service standards and administrative duties are maintained by providing a positive experience when interacting with external and internal clients and service partners.
