Are you ready to make a meaningful impact? As a Youth Care Leader, youll play a crucial role in guiding both our team and participants in a supportive group living environment. Youll leverage your expertise to develop and implement engaging activity plans, encourage collaborative decision-making, and act as a positive role model in a therapeutic, safe, and stable setting. Your compassionate approach will provide essential care and support to individuals with complex needs, such as behavioral challenges, developmental disabilities, and mental health disorders. Youll also be a key player in ensuring that treatment plans are effectively implemented, addressing the emotional and physical needs of each participant with dedication and care.
Education and Professional Certification
* A certificate, diploma, or degree in Child and Youth Care (CYC) or a related field of study.
Experience
* Minimum (1) year of experience working with children, youth, and/or adults facing behavioral, cognitive, mental health, and/or developmental challenges.
* Experience providing leadership, guidance, and support in a team environment.
Skills and Characteristics
* Strong collaborative skills to work effectively within a team environment.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build authentic relationships.
* Leadership abilities to role model, motivate, coach, mentor, and support others.

* Proficiency in behavior management and support methods.
