The Opportunity
Does working in a Northern location of the province with a flexible work rotation interest you? We are looking for dynamic individuals who are devoted to helping others and improving the lives and well-being of children and families to join our team as Child Protection Workers. In this role, you will provide a range of services designed to provide protective, preventative and support services to children and their families using the Family Centered Case Management Model of practice.
We recognize the importance employees place on having flexibility in their work and the balance between work and family. We have the unique opportunity to offer candidates interested in working in our Creighton/Sandy Bay location a d Drive In and Drive Out position, over a four (4) week average period. You will work 11-hour days (Monday through Saturday) with scheduled days off.
While on location, Child Protection Workers may also provide Emergency Duty Work in the evenings, when required. Additionally, the successful candidates may be compensated for travel time from their home location to Creighton/Sandy Bay at the beginning and end of the rotation. Staff housing may also be provided.
All candidates must possess a current driver's license valid in Saskatchewan, as the successful candidate will be required to travel, work flexible hours that may include evenings or weekends, and transport children (or parents) within the service delivery area and province.
