In this position, you will provide administrative and secretarial support to the Executive Coordinator, Executive Director, Directors, and staff of the Drug Plan and Extended Benefits Branch.
To be successful in this role, you will be required to:
- Follow Government of Saskatchewan and Ministry of Health administrative policies, procedures and processes relating to mail tracking, record retention, and filing.
- Maintain Government of Saskatchewan, Ministry of Health, and Branch quality standards for correspondence and other Ministry documents.
- Review, edit, and proofread a variety of correspondence.
- Follow Ministry and Branch procedures for review and approval.
- Track and ensure response timelines are met for Minister Office referrals and case work and public inquiries or requests for information.
- Be tactful and discrete when dealing with confidential and sensitive information.

- Proven time management skills, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Strong independent organizational and prioritization skills and the ability to complete multiple tasks while dealing with frequent interruptions and tight deadlines.
- The ability to collate complex information packages.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure quality work, yet adaptable and co-operative in order to meet new challenges.
- Good understanding of the value of work standards and ensure processes and procedures are appropriately followed.
- The ability to identify and analyze issues and make timely and accurate decisions.
- Superior skills in teamwork and communication.
- Experience with government and/or administrative protocols, policies, and procedures.
