Hours of Work: 15-20 hours weekly  Monday to Friday afternoons

Under the direct supervision of the Cafe Manager, the Kitchen Support Team Member plays a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the Encore Caf kitchen at the kikaskihtanaw Centre for Women and Families. This position is primarily responsible for dishwashing and sanitation but will also assist with food preparation,

Under the direct supervision of the Cafe Manager, the Kitchen Support Team Member plays a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the Encore Caf kitchen at the kikaskihtanaw Centre for Women and Families. This position is primarily responsible for dishwashing and sanitation but will also assist with food preparation, restocking, and other back-of-house duties as required to ensure smooth caf operations.


Qualifications:
Experience in a kitchen or food service setting is an asset, but not required
Willingness to learn and follow safe food handling and sanitation practices
Strong work ethic with ability to work efficiently and maintain pace during busy service periods
Reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to changing tasks and priorities
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/carry up to 50 lbs
Current Food Safe Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to provide a criminal record check
