What You Will Do
As our Administrative Assistant, you will:

Assist with program and volunteer administration: track registrations, pantry distributions, volunteer schedules, and event logistics.

Help prepare newsletters, flyers, reports, and social media posts (content provided).
Support governance: prepare board meeting packages, record minutes, and maintain organizational records.
What You Bring
Previous experience in an administrative or office support role.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); willingness to learn new systems (donor/volunteer databases).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A welcoming, professional, and compassionate presence.
Alignment with the mission and values of Break Free Outreach Ministries Inc. and comfort working in a Christ-centred environment.
Working knowledge with QuickBooks Desktop
Assets (Not required, but preferred):
Charity or faith-based organization experience.
Knowledge of donor/volunteer management systems.
Flexibility to occasionally support evening/weekend events.
