Job Description
Muskoday First Nation is seeking enthusiastic, energetic, and highly motivated individual(s) to fulfill a Full Time and Casual positions of the Community Support Worker (CSW) Role. The CSW will work closely with our Family Well-Being and Community Addictions Teams, as well Community Culture, Recreation, and Sports Teams. The CSW will be responsible for providing mostly after-hours community activities and support
Muskoday First Nation is seeking enthusiastic, energetic, and highly motivated individual(s) to fulfill a Full Time and Casual positions of the Community Support Worker (CSW) Role. The CSW will work closely with our Family Well-Being and Community Addictions Teams, as well Community Culture, Recreation, and Sports Teams. The CSW will be responsible for providing mostly after-hours community activities and support services meant to engage Muskoday youth and families.
Qualifications:
? Two or more years of education, and/or work experience in a relatable Human Services field would be an asset.
? Must have a valid Class 5 driver?s license and must have a reliable vehicle.
? Ability to work flexible hours, such as weekday evenings and weekend shifts.
? Clear Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check as a condition of employment.
? General understanding of wholistic healing and wellness, the Social Determinants to Health (Indigenous Peoples), the history and stories of Muskoday First Nation, the impacts of Residential Schools and Intergenerational Trauma would be an asset.
? Must demonstrate the ability and willingness to promote and adhere to a positive and healthy lifestyle.
? Required to abide by the MFN Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual, and sign all documentation related to Non-Disclosure, Confidentiality, and Code of Conduct.
? Willingness to participate in relevant training and programming related to the role.
? Some travel to profession development with over night stay may be required.
