The HIV Outreach Worker provides stabilization supports and harm reduction services for HIV positive and at-risk individuals within the street involved population in Regina.  Outreach services include transportation to appointments, assistance in securing basic necessities, referrals, advocacy, crisis support, counselling and the provision of health related information.  The incumbent will also work with other service providers to provide case management support, as well as maintain confidential client records, compile client data and monthly reports, and participate in educational presentations.  A Driver's License is required.  The successful candidate will have 5-7 years experience working with vulnerable populations, preferably with clients living with HIV, have in-depth knowledge of issues facing people living with HIV, be a self-starter and able to work with limited supervision.  A combination of education, training and experience will be considered.  Lived experience is highly valued.  Knowledge of First Nations cultures, addiction issues, the justice system, and community resources is required.
