With 50 years of volunteer-driven, community-based experience, Foundations Learning understands that a person's earnings, health, work, and education opportunities are directly related to their literacy skills.
Working closely with the Adult Literacy Program Manager and team, the
Adult Skills & Employability Coordinator provides short-term one-to-one
employability and skills coaching as well as small group facilitation to
adults across Saskatchewan. They also stay current on workplace skills
gaps and engage employers and businesses to support working adults and
align with the Government of Saskatchewan's Labour Market Strategy.
A strong candidate for this role will be a natural coach who can build trust with adults from diverse and vulnerable backgrounds while maintaining professional boundaries. You're a strong communicator and facilitator, able to deliver workshops on topics like digital skills, resume writing, and professional communication. You thrive on collaboration building relationships with employers, community organizations, and government partners to expand opportunities for learners. Organized and adaptable, you are motivated by helping others succeed and stay informed on workforce trends and labour market needs.
The wage range is $22 - $27/hr. This is a full-time permanent position.
