We are seeking an experience financial services professional with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail skills to join our team as a Compliance Manager. The individual we are seeking should be local or within a reasonable commute to Weyburn, SK.
As the Compliance Manager, you will oversee the Credit Unions risk and compliance programs, including anti-money laundering (AML) and regulatory reporting. Youll manage relationships with regulators like FINTRAC, lead fraud investigations, and ensure staff training and policy compliance. You will also supervise the compliance team and support corporate governance to protect the organization and its members.

Your Spark (Qualifications and Experience):
- At least two years post-secondary education plus 5+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in compliance, risk management, or related fields preferred, especially within credit unions is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Additional training in coaching or supervisory skills and excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills is required.
- Ability to interpret and apply complex regulations and policies accurately.
- Proficient in managing regulatory reporting and compliance programs.
