Chief Yellow Sky Resource Center is accepting resumes for two full-time Security Officers to start immediately at Chief Yellow Sky Resource Center (Old School). There will be one security personnel on-site each day and both will work in shifts. The primary responsibility will be communicating with the public visitors and building personnel on a daily basis. Security will be responsible to open the doors and ensure doors are locked at the end of each day. If there are any major issues, security will contact the RCMP. Other expectations can include perimeter checks, being aware of any suspicious persons entering the building or outside areas, making sure all areas are secure and free from hazards etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid Drivers License with reliable vehicle
Punctual and reliable
Experience in Security Industry is an asset
Clean Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check (CPIC)
Sharp observation skills
Physical fitness and stamina
Communication skills
Integrity
Good writing skills many reports/logs and audits are completed on a daily basis
Empathy
Attention to detail

Position Requirements:
Patrol site and restrict access to unauthorized persons
Help keep sites safe from theft, vandalism and fire

Protecting students and staff members within the grounds
Responding to emergency situations
Enforcing rules and regulations
Safeguarding the grounds from suspicious people and activity
Patrol and supervise the grounds
