Brandt is currently looking for a Field Heavy Equipment Technician - Material Handling for our Lloydminster location. The Heavy Equipment Technician  Material Handling independently performs basic/complex diagnostics, service maintenance and repair work on customer and/or dealer-owned equipment on an efficient basis. Resolves customer issues to their satisfaction on a timely basis.

Resolves customer issues to their satisfaction on a timely basis.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES:
Financial Performance:
*Work within budgets and approvals provided by the Service Manager.
*Maintain a high level of productivity, efficiency, and gross margin.

Work Systems and Procedures:
*Accurately record all work done for customer and warranty records.
*Maintain current product knowledge of equipment specific to industry/branch location.

Diagnostic and Mechanical, Electrical, or Hydraulic Repair:
*Perform basic/complex power equipment diagnostics to determine repair needs.
*Diagnose and repair all related systems (disassembly, assembly, and repair).

Required Skills:
*Outstanding knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems and propane systems.  
*Demonstrated diagnostic skills to understand mechanical and electrical systems of battery and engine powered material handling equipment.
*Experience with the use of hand tools and measuring devices, and electrical/electronic diagnostic tools/measurements.
