Bourgault Industries is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to lead recruitment efforts, facilitate interviews, and support HR operations including employee engagement, event planning, and other administrative duties related to benefits and payroll. Bourgault Industries is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to lead recruitment efforts, facilitate interviews, and support HR operations including employee engagement, event planning, and other administrative duties related to benefits and payroll. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about building a positive workplace culture. This position will be temporary from approximately December 2025 January 2027.
Responsibilities
-Support recruitment activities and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process.
-Lead and facilitate interviews with candidates and hiring managers.
-Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
-Participate in career fairs and recruitment events to help attract potential candidates.
-Prepare and organize HR documentation and internal communication to support HR operations.
-Coordinate employee social and appreciation events.
-Collaborate with HR team to support the administration of HR policies, programs, and procedures.
-Respond to general employee inquiries.
-Provide support with payroll and benefit tasks and projects.
Required Skills/Experience
-Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in place of formal education.
-2-3 years of experience in Human Resources and/or Payroll is preferred. Entry level candidates may also be considered.
-Familiarity with recruitment processes.
-Excellent time management & organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities
-Effective written and verbal communication skills, across all levels of the organization as well as with external individuals.
-Able to maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity when working with sensitive data, ensuring privacy and compliance with company policies
