SIGN is seeking a motivated, empathetic, and youth centred individual to fulfill the overall objectives of the home. The position will assist in the development and implementation of quality programming, communication and supervision that will enhance the personal, educational, emotional, and social development of the youth living in the home.

Expectations:
Attend the scheduled shifts for days, evenings and weekends
Provide overall case management for one or more youth
Comply with the case plans observing special considerations and instructions
Assess, evaluate, plan, and revise youth care/support
Protect the health and safety of others by adopting safe work practices
Collaborate and communicate with coworkers and youth to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate youth care
Help to ensure that the nutritional and health requirements of all residents are met
Plan, teach and participate in social and recreation opportunities for youth residents
Efficiently complete required paperwork in written format and with Microsoft Office
Qualifications and experience:
The energy and aptitude to support youth while working well with a team
Experience working with youth in a residential setting would be ideal
Post-secondary education, experience and/ or training relevant to the position
Recent (6 months or less), clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
Valid drivers licence
