Reporting to the Senior Engineer, Project Engineering, the Project Engineer is responsible for providing project engineering support to an assigned project, managing projects through various life cycle phases from early development of concepts through commissioning and follow-up/troubleshooting. The Project Engineer will prepare work scopes, budgets, schedules, and resource allocation plans for multi-disciple resources, incorporating best practices in safety, cost control, risk analysis, and schedule stewardship to ensure the safe and timely completion of projects within budget requirements. This individual would work closely with KSPC Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Maintenance, Operations, and Logistics to define the scope of each. - University bachelors degree. Program or area of specialization Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
-Eligibility for registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS)
-Professional Engineering (P. Eng.) Designation.
-9+ years of progressive technical and project experience in a mining/heavy industrial process setting is required.
-Demonstrated experience in Engineering environments and working with EPCMs and consultants.
-Proven track record in managing engineering components of capital projects.
