Job Description
North Ridge Development Corporation, Saskatchewans leading homebuilder, is seeking an Assistant Site Supervisor to join our Regina team.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning, scheduling and monitoring of construction activities to ensure all aspects of the project are completed on time and safely.
Assist in the review and direction of subtrades to complete change orders as they are received and maintaining

Primary Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning, scheduling and monitoring of construction activities to ensure all aspects of the project are completed on time and safely.
Assist in the review and direction of subtrades to complete change orders as they are received and maintaining a job file to track work.
Schedule and monitor material deliveries; returning excess materials immediately for credit.
Train new employees on North Ridges standards, policies and procedures as well as Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
Assist Site Supervisor in conducting safety and toolbox meetings.
Assist Site Supervisor in conducting Hazard Assessments and inspections.
Liaise between Site Supervisor and crew to ensure directions/tasks of Site Supervisor are assigned across construction staff and subtrades in a timely manner.
Report safety incidents in an accurate and timely manner.
Act on behalf of the Site Supervisor in his/her absence.
Complete Vehicle Maintenance Report on a monthly basis.
Resolve problems/issues in an effective and timely manner, always keeping the customer in mind.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience and Skills Required:
Carpentry Apprentice in at least second year or equivalent experience.
3 years of experience in construction industry including all finishing aspects.
Good understanding of home mechanics including appliances, plumbing, heating, flooring and structural elements.
Valid drivers license, insurable by North Ridge.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient time management and organizational skills.
Self motivated.
Safety conscious.
Negotiation skills.
Must be a resident of Saskatchewan and be legally able to work in Canada
