This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families using the Family Centred Case Management Model.
We are looking for individuals who are committed to child safety and family well-being. The ideal candidate is compassionate, adaptable, and ready to work in a high-demand environment that requires strong decision-making and interpersonal skills.
To qualify, you must hold a Bachelor of Social Work or Bachelor of Indigenous Social Work from an accredited university recognized by SASW/CASW or CASWE. A valid Saskatchewan drivers license is required, along with the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and travel within the service area. Candidates must clearly outline their relevant experience and qualifications in their resume or cover letter.
Preference will be given to qualified Indigenous applicants who self-declare. All applications will be reviewed, but only those selected for interviews will be contacted. This competition will create a six-month eligibility list for current and future opportunities.
In this role, you will investigate allegations of neglect or abuse, assess family functioning and risk, develop intervention plans, and provide support services. You may initiate Family Court proceedings and manage children in care, including placement, treatment planning, and long-term care coordination, often in collaboration with First Nation agencies.
