Job Description
The Role
Reporting to the supervisor, maintenance, the pipefitter utilizes their trade to ensure Cigar Lakes piping systems are effectively maintained and fit for service. The pipefitter will work in areas on surface and underground, performing work that meets all codes.

-Inspect, install, maintain, repair and test all chemical, slurry, water, gas and high-pressure piping systems on site,
The Role
Reporting to the supervisor, maintenance, the pipefitter utilizes their trade to ensure Cigar Lakes piping systems are effectively maintained and fit for service. The pipefitter will work in areas on surface and underground, performing work that meets all codes.
In this role, you will:
-Inspect, install, maintain, repair and test all chemical, slurry, water, gas and high-pressure piping systems on site, ensuring work meets all codes; and
-Perform work in all areas on surface and underground, including mining services distribution systems, surface mine buildings, camps and fuel storage.
Required:
-Valid Saskatchewan or interprovincial journeyperson pipefitter certificate
-Minimum of five years of related experience in heavy industrial, mill or mining environment
-Knowledge of Saskatchewan gas and piping codes
-Ability to interpret blueprints, develop material lists and layout piping systems
-Ability to cut and fit fabricated pipe and fittings and ability to fuse pipe
-Experience with Victaulic piping and fitting systems
-Ability to wear respiratory protection and work under air when required
-Excellent safety record
-Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Recommended:
-Metals or mineral processing plant maintenance experience
-Gas fitter journeyperson certificate
-SAP experience or equivalent maintenance program
-Emergency first aid certificate
-Familiar with digital and online meetings, knowledge of working in Microsoft
