A huge variety of subjects and practical support, at both secondary and post-secondary level, are available to overcome multiple barriers and to prepare for testing, achieve credentials, prepare for further training, or return to work.

Optimum Training & Tutoring is hiring for Adult Literacy position. This is an opening that needs to be filled immediately.

Location: Fort McMurray
Mode of instruction: in-person one on one instruction in Fort McMurray
Start time: immediately

A successful candidate needs to have at least a bachelor'ss degree with strong writing skills. Preferred candidate will have a bachelor'ss degree in education or English. English as an Additional Language certification is beneficial, but not necessary. Senior level college students with good academic standing are encouraged to apply.
Tutor attributes that we look for include: An open mind that is quick to take in and implement new ideas. Strong commitment to meeting individual needs, excellent communication skills; easy to get along with. Responsible and reliable with a good work ethic. Skilled at analyzing student difficulties and developing solutions. Organized, with strong attention to detail. Flexible hours.

Pay depends on education, experience, and interview results. Pay range: $26-$40 per hour.
