Degelman Industries LP is searching for an individual to join our team as a Maintenance Mechanic.  If you are looking for a career in manufacturing, then join a vibrant growing company in the agricultural manufacturing industry. Degelman Industries designs and manufactures equipment known for quality and respected by farmers for 60 years.

Responsibilities of this position will include performing general building, equipment and property maintenance, install, troubleshoot, repair production equipment according to preventative and predictive maintenance procedures and processes. Additional duties include tending the furnace, performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs. Other duties assigned as necessary.

The position requires working in a variety of different conditions including outdoor, confined space, at heights, and dusty environment. The position holder will work with a variety of chemicals, and havingthe ability to read and understand WHMIS Data Sheets is mandatory. This position involves shift work. Relevant training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Requirements for the Job:
- Must possess his/her first year Millwright/Industrial Mechanic,  Machinist, Tri-trade or Electrical pre-employment education or apprenticeship supplemented with 3 to 5 years experience.
- Must have a good understanding of hydraulics
- Must have good organizational and communication skills
- Must be able to inspect, diagnose and problem solve.
