Duties are as below :
1. Schedule materials, tools and personnel
2. Liaise with management, engineers and other trades
3. Join pipes and piping sections using soldering and welding equipment
4. Test system for leaks using air or liquid pressure equipment
5. Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings and flush system
6. Cut openings for pipe in walls, floors and ceilings using hand or power

Duties are as below :
1. Schedule materials, tools and personnel
2. Liaise with management, engineers and other trades
3. Join pipes and piping sections using soldering and welding equipment
4. Test system for leaks using air or liquid pressure equipment
5. Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings and flush system
6. Cut openings for pipe in walls, floors and ceilings using hand or power tools or machines
7. Install supports, valves, piping and control systems
8. Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size
9. Select type and size of pipe required
10. Test system for leaks using testing equipment

Below requirements are mandatory.
1. Steam fitter and Pipe-fitter Red Seal Certificate
2. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
