Job Description: The Clinical Coordinator, under the direction of the Clinical Manager of Hemodialysis Services, is primarily accountable for the system navigation and coordination of patient flow on the dialysis unit. This is achieved by the Clinical Coordinator having an ongoing awareness and involvement in workflow of the unit. Key duties include leadership in the coordination of patient and family care, standards of clinical service and quality improvement, developing and providing educating to patients, families and staff, bed/chair management, discharge planning, advocating for the patient/family, identifying supply and equipment needs, assisting with staff scheduling, acting as a liaison between other members of health care team, other service areas, families and patients, collaborating with provincial hemodialysis partners and providing clinical care as required.

Experience
- Minimum 5 years recent acute nursing experience
- Minimum of three (3) years Hemodialysis related experience.
Education
- Undergraduate degree or diploma in Nursing
Other Education and Training
- Previous supervisory experience is an asset
- Hemodialysis training
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
