The Local Marketing Student will join the grassroots marketing team to execute a citywide community engagement campaign in Regina. This position focuses on direct outreach, awareness-building, and brand visibility through creative marketing tactics. For several weeks, the students will connect with community members, local businesses, and organizations to promote the Foundations initiatives and strengthen its presence throughout the city, inviting residents to support the campaign by proudly displaying lawn signs, posters and banners.
Strategic Alignment of the Position:
This position supports the Foundations strategic goal of increasing community visibility and engagement by connecting directly with residents and organizations. Through local outreach, the Marketing Student helps build awareness of the Foundations work and fosters partnerships that enhance community impact.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement a pre-designed guerrilla marketing campaign throughout Regina.
* Conduct door-to-door outreach to businesses, community members, and stakeholders.
* Coordinate and implement tree branding and visibility initiatives across the city.
* Distribute promotional materials and collect feedback from the public.
* Track progress and outcomes against campaign goals and timelines.
* Represent the Foundation at local events and community gatherings.
* Support other Foundation events and communications initiatives as needed
Qualifications:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Comfortable speaking with business owners and the public.
* Organized, self-motivated, and dependable.
* Valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle (required).
* Experience or interest in marketing, public relations, or community outreach.
* Professional attitude and strong teamwork skills.
