OFFICE IS LOCATED IN REGINA. PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO STUDENTS LOCATED IN RURAL COMMUNITIES OUTSIDE REGINA.

The Rural Marketing Student will join a travelling outreach team focused on strengthening the Foundations presence in rural Saskatchewan. The role involves connecting with business owners and community leaders, with an emphasis on farm communities and residents in surrounding rural areas. Students in this position will execute creative marketing strategies that raise awareness about the Foundations work and deepen engagement with rural communities. Preference given to students located outside of Regina.
Strategic Alignment of the Position:
This role directly contributes to expanding the Foundations reach beyond Regina, aligning with the strategic goal of building relationships and visibility across southern Saskatchewan. By engaging with rural residents and organizations, this position supports community development and the Foundations province-wide impact.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and carry out guerrilla marketing campaigns in Moose Jaw and rural communities across Saskatchewan.
* Conduct door-to-door outreach to local businesses, community members, and farmers.
* Distribute promotional materials and implement rural visibility projects.
* Coordinate travel schedules and ensure campaign deadlines are met.
* Conduct research on rural areas and map a route.
*Record engagement data and provide regular campaign updates.
* Support community-based storytelling and local promotion efforts.
Qualifications:
* Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
* Comfortable with travel and rural outreach.
* Organized and adaptable with excellent time management.
* Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle (required).
* Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a small team.
* Background in agriculture or rural communities is an asset.
