POSITION SUMMARY: The Child Protection Worker is responsible for supporting the safety and well-being of Indigenous children and families through culturally grounded assessments, case planning, and intervention services. The Worker collaborates closely with the Prevention team, community staff, Elders, and partner agencies to ensure responsive, family-centered services. Duties include conducting interviews, evaluating risk, documenting case activity, coordinating supports, and participating in court processes when required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Indigenous Social Work, Social Work, Human Services, or a related discipline.
Valid Class 5 drivers license and reliable vehicle.
Current Criminal Record Check & Vulnerable Sector Search (or ability to obtain).
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed.
