The Saskatoon Housing Authority is currently recruiting the position of IT/Senior Accounting Technician.  This position is a full-time 9-month TERM and provides accounting for non-profit owners as well as the housing authority.  This position is responsible for the inventory of housing authority office/site equipment and furnishings and coordinates insurance incidents.

This position will assume duties/responsibilities of the Finance Manager in their absence, has responsibilities in accounts payable, payroll and is back up for our accounts receivable technician.  This position is required to work quite independently.

You will work with our Management team, staff as internal clients and the Information Technology Service Desk and the Housing Systems Unit as an external client.  You must adhere to policies and procedures of the Saskatchewan Housing Corporation as well as the Saskatoon Housing Authority.

Duties will include; accounts payable/receivable, insurance reporting, general accounting, inventory and computer access (software/hardware)

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
.  Completion of an accredited business program, supplemented with business software application courses;
.  3-5 years experience in a similar accounting position or a professional accounting designation;
.  Must be bondable
.  Be able to lift, carry and set up IT equipment
.  Provide a clear Criminal Records Check
