We are looking for a full-time accounting technician to join our team.  The successful candidate will assist with preparing corporate and personal tax returns, complete bookkeeping and financial statement preparation as well as supporting in a variety of accounting and tax projects.

Key Responsibilities

-    Prepare personal and corporate tax returns and GST, etc.
-    Preparing financial statements
-    Bookkeeping and data entry using accounting software
-    Ensure compliance

-    Assist senior staff with the completion of audits and reviews

Qualifications

-    Diploma or degree in Accounting or experience in accounting
-    At least 1 year of experience in accounting and tax preparation
-    Familiarity with tax software and accounting systems
-    Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
-    Good verbal and written communication skills
-    Ability to work independently and as part of a team
